I wasn't going to post the wedding photos until I had them all, but we haven't had a chance to pick up the disc yet, and now it's Christmas and then it will be New Year and then something else will come up and the wedding will be old news. So I thought I'd put a few up in the meantime. These are the ones the photographer sent through as samples, so if we're pulling odd faces or looking sad or bored, please excuse us. We really weren't. (Although towards the end we did get a bit sleepy...) You can read a little bit about the day here.

We don't really have any of the reception or decorations just yet, but we do have this one of the cake, which was pretty sensational.

  1. I've never seen such fantastically unusual wedding photos. Nor a groom who jumped so high. Who knew Chris was part frog. All the best people are... ;) xxx
p.s. you can be part-frog if you consume a lot of nutella and croissants, I didn't want to exclude us from the best people.
p.p.s. again with the glowing Anna, you do glow Annatomically two, you do!

  11. Sarah – the dress is not fancy at all! It's an Aussie label called Rodeo Show:

  24. My ma–in–law made this cake. It's just 3 of our favourite cakes stacked on top of each other!

    Bottom: Lemon polenta (Hubby's recipe)
    Middle: Pistachio (River Cafe recipe)
Top: Baked cheesecake (my mum's recipe)

  26. I have found my way to your blog via Fat Mum Slim today when I recognised her Friday post from one of my faves Soulemama - isn't the web a small place.

Anyhow I've been having a poke around and wanted to say your wedding looked amazing. It makes me want to have another one. You and your husband look so genuinely happy and relaxed. Beautiful photos too. I love that Paul Kelly song especially being a native Melbourner. I look forward to stopping by again soon. Xx
