We set our alarms for 5.30
and rolled out of bed at 6
There was no surf
but the water was so warm
I couldn't help jumping in
We ate spinach and cheese rolls
from a bakery I keep hearing about
and finished it off with a coffee......and some very funky beach hair
Wearing your husbands shirt with your belly hanging out
in not a great look for a Monday morning
But the day was too beautiful to even care
about silly things like that

Just delightful! I feel like I'm right there at the beach, the water lapping at my feet. Thank you, this has made my day :)

Your Monday sounds wonderful and a world away from a cold grey London Monday! Green with envy!
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteI hope I look that fabulous when I'm pregnant. Looks like such a fabulous beach day!
great hair. it was nice to be transported to a warm beach today, i stood on a cold and misty english beach today, beautiful in it's own way but not quite as lovely as this...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect day. And I was just thinking that wearing a mens shirt with your belly hanging out was a good look for you...
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, cheese and spinach rolls... Don't know about you but currently pregnancy is all about the next meal. Hell, you know me, it's always been about the next meal.

p.s. probably a good idea to get used to those early starts... unless you've ordered the super deluxe sleeps-through-night model.
p.p.s remember, once you've taken it out of its packaging, no exchanges or refunds.
i want some of those quiche rolls!
ReplyDeletesounds like a lovely sunny day, fantastic photos.

ReplyDeleteWow. You're one hot mama. I looked like Moby Dick while pregnant, so cannot stress this enough: Enjoy your bump. It's very becoming.

I loved those days before baby... taking the baby bump on lovely adventures.
ReplyDeleteIt feels like time is standing still... awaiting the days to pass... until it's the birthing day.
And the love! Oh, the love. For Hubby. My Baby. My Bump. My body. My life.
I hope you feel the same bliss. xx
