I saw this plate in the window of a little second hand shop yesterday. Hoping it would be something like $3, I checked the tag. Um... not quite the case! The lady in the shop was pretty cool though and let me take it for half price. She was also very adamant that we are having a boy, because of the shape of my belly. Funnily enough every shop lady seems to think the same (and is not afraid of saying so!) Whereas all my friends think BB is a girl. We'll soon see!24.2.10

Nice find..! I get "your having a boy" from the lady's and even the odd man too and they seem so sure? as you say we will soon see....

ReplyDeleteMy Mum guess that I was having a boy and she was right. Wonder if that lady is right? Bet you can't wait to find out!
Once the baby is born you will have to get used to "how old is s/he" "is s/he sleeping through the night yet" (even when they are just a few weeks old!) and "when are you having another one"! :)

ReplyDeleteACK! I hate how you're public property when you're pregnant. I used to go to a pharmacy and this girl would always come over and rub my belly. I'm not a freaking BUDDHA!

ReplyDeleteEverybody said I was having a boy because my tummy was stuck out front and, as you know, Matilda is very definitely not a boy. Everyone is telling me I'm having a boy this time too. Maybe that's just the shape I am when I'm pregnant. These old wives and their tales... xxx
ReplyDeletep.s. Pretty plate at twice the price ;) I like being pregnant because I find people are super nice to me. Actually, it continues when you have a cute little monster in tow. It's always slightly depressing when I go out on my own, not visibly pregnant, noone smiles or is especially nice to me!
Won't be much longer before we know who was right. Hope these last weeks go super quick so you can finally meet your little bub.

I couldn't get enough tart stuff, grapefruit juice, peaches, etc. tons a day. everyone told me at the time they were girls because of my tart-tooth ????
