Today would have been a Bumpday...
THE Bumpday,
40 weeks.
So here's our little bump snoozing in the sling
on her first trip to the beach,
where I swam almost every day.
So far...
she has slept through
all of her big events.

Oh man - you just have to go right on and make me all clucky don't you?? I LOVE a beautiful newborn, all milky smelling goodness, all curled up and each day unfurling. Take a deep breath of her neck for me will? Right there in the nape - ahhhh, and then the top of her head. Mmmmm. She is a beauty. x
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, I have had the most enjoyous hour, (ok, maybe more, but don't tell boss!) pouring over your blog. Your birth story was beautifully written and inspiring and I love all the photography throughout your blog. Thanks for sharing your pregnancy so candidly. I'm looking forward to more reading!

Ohmygoodness, she is just beyond precious.
ReplyDeleteMy wee Tuesday came up to me today and said that she's renamed her favourite dolly Baby Rosie in honour of your lovely little Rosie Rummey Bear. She says that Baby Bear is so CUTE (with a two year old joyous squeal)!
ReplyDeleteMust say I agree entirely with her.
You guys, you're so very clever!
So very beautiful and precious. Just discovered your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteI just read your birth story and it seems so much more amazing and intimate than being in a hospital, where I would imagine you really wouldn't be told what was going on. It was a treasure to read it! And your little girl is just so amazing! Enjoy!

she is a delight... Hearing you say you swam almost everyday makes me feel a little guilty the most exercise I have done is with my fingers...typing and sewing and reaching for the chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI bet she will love the water when she grows up x
I read all your archives last night... A what a journey you've been on in the past year! Sounds like you're going so well, congrats on the little Rosie bundle.
ReplyDeleteAnna, she is just so adorable and precious. x
