Thank you all so much for the great fabric tips last week. I've spent much of the weekend perusing the internet imagining all the sweet lil' things I'm going to make for Baby Bear. I won't even let the fact that I can't really sew stand in my way.
I'd like to make a shout out to the Birthday Fairy (yes you, with the beard and wife-beater) that perhaps a new sewing machine wouldn't go astray. I know you already owe me a ukulele from last year, but seeing as this one's the big 3-0 a double present would be okay. In fact, you can even get yourself a new surfboard in honour of my birthday. Please start saving now. Thank you.

when is your birthday? i'm turning 30 as well, in april. also about to deliver my first (and last?) baby, so i love visiting your blog. my husband recently bought me a new machine, so i will send those positive vibes your way and hope you get a very nice one!

ReplyDeleteIt was my big three-oh just gone, and my birthday fairy is so intimidated by pressies for such a momentous occasion that he's still ruminating on what could possibly be the best pressie for moi!
Love the hints, I am a fan of the hints, however my hint-ee never takes them. And freestyles.. Sometimes with great results.. Sometimes not. I am still waiting for my 30th birthday bike. Still bloody waiting.
