We are still sniffling away here, but on our way to recovery. It's funny the stages of a cold. First the chest, then the throat and then always a blocked but runny nose. BB is still handling it like a trooper, although needs extra cuddles at night time.
I've been looking at lots of new (to me) blogs the last couple of days. A very special one I've found is resurrection fern, which I stumbled across via Kristi's site when I was gaping in awe at a crocheted fish her mama made. I was so excited that I called PB over, thinking that he would share in my joy. He is into fishing after all.
His reply? (In the best authoritative cross manly voice he could muster...)
"Darling. The day a crocheted stone enters this house is the day I leave."
Luckily they're small enough to hide in my pockets.

Yes I love this etsy store! I too was fantasising about these little stones in my place until my PB said much the same as yours a few months ago. The pockets, however, could work.....

ReplyDeleteyour lucky pockets. i think they would make pretty paper weights too x
How funny our little world is... resurrection fern was one of the first blogs I started reading... I showed Alpha's Daddy the pretty little stones and her little plates one day and his reply was pretty much the to the same tune.. something along the lines of "Why?"
ReplyDeleteI love your hubby's point of view, to funny. I hear the words "old lady" mentioned a lot around here.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I have to say I'm with PB on this one though. I don't dig the crochet stones.
ReplyDeleteDo you read Gennine's art blog, it's where I first came across the doiley covered stones. Love Gennine's art blog.
ReplyDeleteCheers, ecobabe (using Rob's google login because to create my own would "mess up my whole computer" apparently)
