I'm so happy for everyone up in the northern hemisphere. From looking at all your blogs winter has come to an end and the warmth of spring is shining down. There's something so magical about the changing of the seasons. Autumn is well and truly here now. The other day we bought kilos of pumpkin and PB made a delicious dip which has since been turned into yummy soup, pasta sauce and spread on toasted sourdough bread.
We ventured out for another mini-adventure today. A walk to a cafe for some chai and a muesli cookie. Another visit to the bank*. A mooch down the high street poking in and out of shops, whilst I pleaded my case to PB for a new pair of little winter boots.
We will have bigger adventures, soon. Tonight PB has gone to look at some cars as the three of us (plus a couple of surfboards) don't squeeze into a 3-door hatch anymore. Hopefully we will have some new wheels this week. A good sensible family station wagon. We feel very grown up indeed.
*Does anyone live in Sydney? If you're feeling a bit down and need a pick me up pop into the Commonwealth Bank in Mosman. I'm not kidding. The folk in there are so damn nice we could (um, and often do) spend hours hanging out there.

check out that little tongue! hehe.
ReplyDeleteI am probably going to have to outlaw visiting your blog anymore.
ReplyDeleteBecause you put that tiny little beautiful tongue on your blog.
Is there anything cuter in the world than a newborn tongue?
No. I didn't think so.
Anna gorgeous photos here as always and a lovely post :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get your new wheels very soon.
That cookie looks so damn good! One of those would go down a treat with my coffee tonight :)

ReplyDeletemuseli cookie looks good. my mum's pumpkin soup recipe is fabulous - if you ever want to try it, let me know. x
I am laughing at these comments because I obsess over my newborn nephew's tongue. I don't know why a baby tongue is so ridiculously cute!
ReplyDeleteI love when the season changes to Fall, and all the pretty burnt leaves, pumpkins, and crisp weather are everywhere to be seen. Enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog a while back when Joanna from Cup of Jo posted about your belly and bikinis :) Your photos of your daughter are very precious - I really like the light in them. Was wondering...what kind of camera/lens you use?
High fives from Canada (and yes, spring is on it's way),
Kirsty
Glad to see you are getting out little by little, that's how it seems to happen. Same goes for the growing vehicle. Good luck with the boots!

ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog and I love your photographs. They are simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust came across your blog through Daily Imprint. Funny you should mention the bank. I was went for a window shop around Mosman after school drop last year one day. I had to pay for an ebay purchase and went in there to pay into the vendors account. Yes, they are indeed exceptionally friendly! Lovely blog. Congratulations on your new arrival. Beautiful. Carmel
