I was recently introduced to the illustrations of Richard Scarry by my friend Madeleine. (You should check out her Lowly Worm cake.) Last week I ordered the book I Am A Bunny from the awesome We Heart Books website. It arrived a couple of days ago, and with it there was a gorgeous little present for BB – some paper bunting made from vintage Golden Books. (Thanks Lou!)

A very apt gift I think, as you can see from the last picture. (Which believe it or not, was not staged at all).

PS. Those overalls are taking a break and are now in the wash. It's sad, I know.

  17. ha! Richard Scarry is a BIG fave of iris's, i like him too and i absolutely love little golden books. my friend's son only wanted to read one particular RS book over and over again, it went on for weeks, it drove her a little loopy! so there is a flipside to the genius of Mister Scarry.

and wowee! look at your girl! amazing! CUTE!
