1. Yellow Salts from Little Pinwheel (also available at Neck of the Woods in Manly. Formerly Pulp Life).
2. Tomato box from the recycling pile at our local cafe.
3. Neon caterpillar from PB's mum.
4. Bracelet made by Ruby.

My whole life has been an obsession with colours. They can make my heart stop. Twice this happened recently. From this and this. I even emailed Nath to make sure she was in good mental health because there was no other explanation for the selling of those cups. She assured me she was in fact ok.

I schemed to split them with a friend. They were almost ours except the postman charges an exorbitant amount to deliver to Australia, so we set them free. If you are in the UK please give them a home. Tell them we said Hi.

PS. PB says I should apologise for all the backyard photos. I'm sorry. But the warmer weather requires it of us. What it does not require is leaf blowers. Noisy, useless wake-the-baby things.

  5. Dude I scored some Acapulco at an auction once. You'll find it local, you just got to keep your eyes peeled. x

  6. My Mum still has the whole acapulco set - I can remember when she bought it actually. We used it all the time. I feel very lucky!

  7. Ok. Firstly you should not link to awesome clothing sites that make me positive kaleidoscope leggings are a neccessity and that maybe we can survive without food for a week.

Secondly, pipecleaner jewellery rocks. I have a neon pink ring my 4year old nephew made for me from a pipecleaner. He called it the pigtail. There's a fashion designer career just around the corner for that boy me thinks!

ps. love the Salts as always, especially with the blue toes, and major bummer about the awesome set from Nath. How dangerous is her shop? xx

  10. Those damn leaf blowers. I once dared to ask our gardener why he couldn't use a rake. Don't think he thought much of that idea...

  11. You know Villeroy and Boch did an Acapulco 're-dux' a few years ago. It isn't as brilliant as the original - but still pretty spectacular none the less. Indeed, I saw a coffee set on the sale table at DJs today for not very much at all.

I do so love the outdoorsy photos. And I have serious yellow saltwater envy. My clod-hoppers are just too big! Le sigh!

  15. Great pics, love your toenails .... Leaf blowers would have to be one of my biggest pet hates, my neighbor often uses his at about 4.00 on a Sunday afternoon, instant mood kill, there really should be a law against them !!!

  17. rogers dad once brought over a leaf blower. donating it to our house in fact. i had a tantrum. a large one. i refused to allow the thing on my land. how dare he. bring such a menace. those things signify laziness to me. pure laziness. selfish. lazy. they say i am so lazy and unable to do the job properly i shall wake up the entire neighbourhood for the sake of clearing my path. and who wants a clean path? dont you love the sound of the leaves as you walk across them. there is also lots of kiddy fun investigating mess on paths. weird people those leaf blowers. i refused to let that symbol of laziness entire my life. jillian

  18. Ohhh, I so nearly bought that cup n saucer set the other day, it is nothing short of aMAZing. I just couldn't justify it with the postage costs and the fact that recently I have purchased about 1.2 million pieces of vintage crockery

  19. I love the backyard shots too, the sun is so magical! You should set up a label for all your saltwater posts the colours are fantastic.

  25. Been meaning to stop by and say sorry 'bout those cups.

I nearly bought them first time round, then hesitated and by the time I had decided to go ahead they had been purchased by yourself!

Couldn't believe it when they went back on sale again, so there was no hesitation this time...

No postage charges for me, as luckily, I live round the corner from Nath (and that is a piece of luck in itself, she's a great gal)

I'll raise a cup to you though, next time we use them.
