Happy (belated) 8 months little Baby Bear.
The other day I bumped into a lady from my mother's group. We spoke briefly and during this time her very cute daughter sat angelically in the pram. Smiling softly whilst playing with her toy. The mother joked with me that they call her an angel because she is so well behaved. And how about Rosie she asked?
Oh, Rosie's great. Just great. You know, fierce and determined, but just great. I had to speak loudly as the child I was speaking about was grunting, screaming and doing whatever she could in an attempt to remove herself from the stroller.
Yup. Fierce. Determined. And very hard to keep still in a chair. (I was warned about that...)
We couldn't be prouder of our little imp.
PS. Note to self: remove beetroot fully from child's face before taking monthly portrait.
PPS. BB will draw the winner of the dimple hat next week. No time today to write out the numbers.

yep! that all looks very familiar! love the 2nd & 3rd photos.. too adventurous for her own good :)
ReplyDeleteLittle Rosie is just too cute for words Anna! Look at the girl go - she definitely knows what she wants!!
ReplyDeletelove these photos and how BB doesn't hold in place! Your new Eames rocker is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteSnap with the Eames. That's the colour we have. Good choice!
ReplyDeleteHappy 8 months BB, you're looking so cute in your bloomers and knitted vest.
And who would want an angelic child who sits quietly, eh. Fierce and determined is far more interested. xx
Wow those EYES!
ReplyDeleteShe is just ADORABLE!!! Love these photos and how they capture her "in action". = )
ReplyDeleteI didn't know her name was Rosie-- very sweet! She's gorgeous and I love her red vest (what do you call them in Australia again? Gilet?).
ReplyDeletei LOVE her outfit!!!
ReplyDeletehappy belated 8 months. Lily will be 1 tomorrow. so crazy!
she too is a fearless, determined little one.
Who wants an angel? Give me fierce and determined and impish any day. And who notices someone who smiles softly? Damn right Rosie, let the world know you're there! And if it were against the law to be cute, Rosie would be the biggest baddest outlaw in the West... and all the other points on the compass as well. xxx
ReplyDeleteFierce and determined is the bestest way to be- go Rosie. Lenny is exactly the same. I have a weekly coffee with a friend from mother's group and her gorgeous little boy sits perfectly still in his pram while Len dog grabs onto anything in sight, eats the cutlery and talks to anyone who comes his way. They are all so different, huh.
ReplyDeleteyou guys rock. rosie is divine. x
ReplyDeletecute series for her 8 month mark! I can see the fierceness in those big eyes of hers, if she blinks she will miss out on to much fun to be had :-)
ReplyDeletep.s thanks for the hot tip, I've got it down to two colours now xx
So you should be proud .... and from experience never trust a mum from playgroup who talks about how perfect her child is, they never really are !!!
ReplyDeletehaha great story! it's great that she's a little feisty!
ReplyDeleteyou cant beat a kid with spirit.
ReplyDeleteloving her style x happy 8 months Rosie!
I too have a fierce and determined child, he doesn't like to sit still.ever. and must constantly be on the move. I just try to remember that when he is 20 I will love watching that nature conquer the world.
ReplyDeleteGlorious outfit, what a stylish Baby Bear. Loving the bloomers over tights and the bright red knitted vest!
ReplyDeletebloomers and tights are the bestest. but alas the window is small (or can they still rock the look after 2...?)
ReplyDeleteSounds just like Amelia!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love the use of "fierce" to describe her. I'll have to borrow that one for certain.
There's nothing more nutritious than fresh chair in the morning.
ReplyDeletefierce, determined and a beauty! those eyes melt me everytime i see her photos over here : )
ReplyDeletelovin' the little, red knitted vest!
It's so frustrating how they care so little for their own lives. baby maria is wild. It's a miracle she is alive. It does help that they are so incredibly cute though.
ReplyDeleteand the way you dress her...
you're the bomb!
She is so stylish in this outfit. I love her pants! Now it's starting to get little cooler out here, I am taking notes in how to dress our little one in the winter gear!
ReplyDeleteHappy 8 months to BB!
