I feel like I can't really continue this space without a quick rundown on the last four months, if only for the purposes of my own documentation.

In brief:

Early pregnancy has been tough. PB assures me I spent a good month in bed last time but I've managed to block that out. (The pain of childbirth, unfortunately, is still with me). My memories of up-the-duffness with BB center around a glorious full-bellied summer spent swimming and eating mango weiss bars. Photographic evidence only supports those recollections in the third trimester. So I guess I did feel shit in the beginning.

We bit the bullet and are now a two-car family. I have my own little lady-car to drive BB and I around in and PB has taken full advantage of sole ownership of the wagon (i.e not having to clean it out). The drama's that surrounded the purchase of car number two warrant an entire separate post, or blog even. However I will advise when buying a car even if that ad says diesel, double check before filling it up with actual diesel – because it really is a bugger to fix.

We moved. And we're a gasquillion times happier here.

BB is no longer breastfed. At all. It was surprisingly un-traumatic and all it took was the substitution of bottle of milk (with a touch of honey) for boob. She's never had a bottle before so she was super excited at the offering.

We've also scored BB a spot for pre-school, beginning January (!) By chance it happens to be local Montessori school, but I prefer saying pre-school, because I think it's a bit wanky when people say things like oh, I just dropped so-and-so off at Montessori.

My pal Alenka came over this morning and made us Nutella smoothies. It's worth a mention. They were fantastic.
